Eight members of the IT Naturally team swapped desks, laptops and Teams calls for hiking boots, an early morning call and a very real reminder that Snowdon is, in fact, quite a large hill!
But it was all worth it for the views and to raise more than £2,000 for Prostate Cancer Research after taking part in Snowdonia for Science 2026.
Prostate Cancer Research is a charity funding research into earlier diagnosis, better treatments and the long-term goal of universal screening.
Taking part from IT Naturally were Richard, Gerry, Patrick, Mark D., John, Jay and Dominika, alongside some family members Celia, Nicola and Katarzyna.
For the team, this was more than a physical challenge. It was a chance to support a cause that feels close to home.
Prostate cancer affects men, families, friends, colleagues and communities. It affects brothers, fathers, partners, husbands and sons. And in a business with a strong representation of men, the cause felt especially important.
It was also a timely reminder of the importance of talking more openly about men’s health, encouraging check-ups, and making sure the gents in our lives feel supported to take symptoms, screening and medical advice seriously.
At IT Naturally, giving back is part of how we do business. As a certified B Corp, we believe businesses have a responsibility to think beyond profit and consider the impact they have on people, communities and the wider world.
That doesn’t always have to mean grand gestures. Sometimes it looks like a team getting together, choosing a cause that matters, putting one foot in front of the other, and raising as much as they can to support important work.
The Snowdon climb brought together teamwork, determination, community spirit and a healthy number of moments where the team may have questioned their life choices on the way up.
But aching legs aside, the challenge was a brilliant example of what can happen when people come together with a shared purpose.

“As a B Corp, we talk a lot about using business as a force for good, and this was a very practical way for our team to live that. It took effort, commitment and a fair bit of grit, but it was all for something that really matters.”
