We’re proud to share that IT Naturally is now an accredited Living Wage Employer.
This means every single person on our payroll earns at least the real Living Wage – currently £12.60 per hour – which is higher than the government’s legal minimum of £11.44 for over-21s. It’s a small change that makes a big difference, especially in the East of England, where over 12% of jobs pay less than the real Living Wage.
Unlike the government’s minimum, the real Living Wage is calculated based on what people actually need to live – it’s a voluntary benchmark for employers who believe that a hard day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay. At IT Naturally, that belief is built into our culture.
Our CEO, Richard Gardner, summed it up:
“I am thrilled IT Naturally has been accepted into the Living Wage Foundation. It reflects our dedication to valuing our employees and ensuring they receive fair compensation for their hard work. It’s another step towards the positive and supportive workplace culture we have at IT Naturally where everyone feels respected and appreciated.”
We’re joining a growing movement of over 15,000 businesses – from small companies to big names like Burberry, Barclays and Everton FC – all committed to going above and beyond when it comes to pay. Because when your employees feel valued, they thrive. And when they thrive, so does the business.
For us, this is another part of doing IT differently – and doing the right thing.
