We are jumping for joy here at IT Naturally HQ as we’re now officially a Certified B Corporation® with an impact score of 92.9.
When we started the company in 2019, we knew we wanted to create a different type of Managed Service Provider (MSP), one that cared about its people, truly owned every situation and used tech as a force for good.
In 2021, we began our sustainability journey by measuring and reducing our carbon footprint.
As we continued our journey, we started searching for something to reflect the way we worked. We looked at different types of certifications but when we came across B Corp™, we knew it was the one for us.
B Corp™ Certification shows that a business is meeting high standards of verified performance, accountability, and transparency on factors from employee benefits and charitable giving to supply chain practices and input materials. B Corps™ make a commitment to consider the interests of all stakeholders in their business operations: workers, customers, communities, and the environment.
B Corp™ certification is granted after a thorough assessment of a brand’s social and environmental impact. In total, more than 200 questions are asked of each brand, covering a huge variety of topics. When we started the process though it felt like such a natural step that we barely had to change anything that we did, we were quietly confident that it felt so aligned to us that we would get there in the end.
Due to COVID and the rapid growth in B Corp™, it has felt like we have been eagerly awaiting the outcome of this for a long time, but we now join the other 6000 certified B Corps™ across the world.
We are passionate about this movement and can now move forward in our business working with others that share the same ethos.
